SAVE OUR TIGERS

It is so sad to know that the expected number of tigers in India is going decreased. According to the recent survey of India it is noted that a sharp decline in their population to 1,411, it is mainly because of poaching for tiger fur, bones and other tiger products and loss of their natural habitat due to climate changing and human activities like logging, farming and encroachment of forests.

The whole world has around one lakh tigers with India only having 40,000 Tigers in the wild at the start of this century. Boost in population meant that people would struggle for place to live against the wild and therefore, the decrease in the number. Keeping away the reality that for the ‘Maharajas’, hunting wild animals used to be a sport.

To help “Save Our Tigers”, Aircel has partnered with WWF-India. The task of WWF is to prevent the humiliation of the planet’s natural environment and to build future in which humans live in accord with nature. Major population losses & extinction are being faced by Tigers. For sport, skins & body parts, Tigers are murdered. 3,500 tigers around the world and from them 1,400 are found from India According to the World Wildlife Fund.

You can also assist in “Save Our Tigers” by speaking up about the reason, blogging about tigers. Money can be also donated by you to NGOs working for the cause, like WWF-India at http://www.wwfindia.org/help/donate/.

Our future generation may well put Tigers besides Dinosaurs’ and know about them as extinguish animals, If we at-least don’t take steps now. If you want to show your concern on tigers practically, then head over here to make a mark.

So Dear Friends Please make your move and save our Tigers

HUMANOID AND LINE FOLLOWER ROBOT

ASIMO

ASIMO is a humanoid robot created by Honda. Standing at 130 centimeters (4 feet 3 inches) and weighing 54 kilograms (114 pounds), the robot resembles a small astronaut wearing a backpack and can walk or run on two feet at speeds up to 6 km/h (4.3 mph), matching EMIEW.ASIMO was created at Honda's Research & Development Wako Fundamental Technical Research Center in Japan. It is the current model in a line of eleven that began in 1986.The name is an acronym for "Advanced Step in Innovative MObility". Honda states that the robot's name is not a reference to science fiction writer and inventor of the three laws of robotics
As of February 2009, there are over 100 ASIMO units in existence ....

LINE FOLLOWER ROBOT

This small line follower robot, was designed to be easily built at home without any special equipment, and using a minimum number of mechanical parts. You wont need more than 2 small motors, 2 free wheels and a piece of pcb (to hold the micro-controller, the motors driver and the line sensor) and sure.. your soldering iron! The main trick making this design simple and affordable, is that the robot's chassis is actually the main board of the robot, where some supports for the wheels - also made of small parts of copper boards - are soldered to it. All the motors, and the skids are mounted on the main PCB. For an electronics hobbyist, PCB manufacturing is a skill that will be learnt sooner or later, so this design lets you use your experience in PCB manufacturing to design a high precision chassis for your robot.

Introduction

Hi,
I'm Kedarnath G Kallimath from Hubli(Karnataka).I'm studying Mechanical Engineering in BVBCET,Hubli. My home town is hubli itself.I completed my schooling in Rotary school and PU in Chetan college,Hubli.
I'm passionate about my subject.I'm a common man with great aspirations in life and trying hard to achieve my goal.I want to be a robotic design engineer further in my life.my hobbies are reading novels such as I Robot,A walk to remember, five point some one and many more.i enjoy science-fiction novels alot relative to other type of novels.karate and ethical hacking are also my hobbies.
I was a state level winner in karate tournament held at Bengaluru in 2005.Now,i'm black belt(dan 1) player.I'm good at presenting the things which i understand well.I have convincing nature in the sense i can convince people about any thing to a greater extent. I tend to do things better individually than in a team.I do not schedule the events in the given task in a sequenced manner and this is my drawback.
I like to make friends and to have fun with them.Actually, life is not a life without friends.I want to be happy in life and want to make others happy because little happiness makes our life large.I dont have a habit of abusing anybody about anything related to them.As it is said, if you want to be happy in life just 'Be good and Do good'.
well, actually i never used to socialise much with people, but i'm getting a very good chance to share my views about the subject and interact with people through the blogs.I'm new to this site.well,to say about me.i'm a very simple person, being simple is my principle.

Finally, i would like to thank to this site for making me as one of the integral part of it.

Thank you.
